Days Remembered

Written on April 26, 2003 – 5:06 pm

Sheesh…I just enjoyed all the love I received. Thanks to all my reads and everyone else who shared a little love with me. Well, hubby is sick, so we definitely won’t be painting this weekend. He is currently in bed! Oh well.

I picked up Soap Digest’s Ultimate Days of Our Lives Fan Guide. Of course, since I’ve been watching the show since 1988, I remember a lot of the stuff they mention. Every few pages they have a fan poll. One is for all-time favorite tear-jerker.
The choices:

  1. Bo and Hope give up JT, 2002
  2. Isabella Black’s Death, 1992
  3. Steve Johnson’s Death, 1990
  4. Tom Horton’ s Death, 1994
  5. Roman and Marlena reunite on the docks, 1991.

Of these I’d have to choose 5. That was a very moving reunion. But my all-time favorite moment in Days History is when John and Kristen returned Belle to Marlena at the Christmas midnight mass. During the singing of Silent Night, they walked down the aisle and handed Belle to a tearful Marlena…I even cried. I’ll never forget that. It really was the best Days moment.

And who is my most missed character? I’d have to say Carrie and Kayla. Yes, I picked 2. It’s be great to see these two return to Salem.

Don’t tell my friends, but I went through a serious Day’s phase. What ever happened with the whole Carrie and Austin saga? And what ever happened to Carrie’s psycho sister that had a thing for Austin? And what ever happened between that psycho sister and I think it was Austin’s brother? Did that guy ever end up with the model chick and all that? Geez, is there an episode guide somewhere on the net you can’t point me to to sum up the last 12 years?
