Cream Cheese Chicken bullet 18 May 2003

Here is the chicken crockpot recipe that I mentioned in the last Friday Five.

4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 bottle italian dressing
1 8oz package of cream cheese
1 can cream of chicken
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon thyme
salt and pepper

Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste. Add chicken and italian dressing to crockpot. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Remove chicken from crockpot. Discard excess dressing. Shred chicken. Add back to crockpot. Mix rest of ingredients in separate bowl. Stir into chicken. Cook on low for another hour.

I serve it with rice or pasta. I also like it for lunch with crackers or on a bagel.

Oh my hubby would love that. I gotta head to the grocery store now cause a lazy girl like myself loves the crockpot!
