Holiday weekend 07 July 2003

Friday we spent the day out on Lake Martin. A friend’s uncle has a cabin out there, so we spent the 4th with them. It was lots of fun. We went swimming in the lake and at night we shot of fireworks. Our grand finale was just like the real fireworks. It was great.

We spent Saturday very lazy. We barely did anything at all and the day went by very fast. Yesterday we detailed my SUV. Washed, waxed, and cleaned the inside really good. It is like new again. :) We watched Undercover Brother after we finished with the car. It was pretty funny. I had wanted to go to the movies and see Legally Blonde 2, but I didn’t make it. Maybe next weekend.

Oh yeah. My parents are coming out next weekend. My dad has gotten into the online auctions and he won a van, so they are coming out to pick it up. Isn’t that wild? Dad also got a flat panel 17 inch LCD monitor at an online auction for about $300. No kidding!
