Today has been one hell of a day. You know those where everything just aggravates you and nothing goes right? Yep. The one thing that really set me off is the UPS guy. After weeks of waiting for a package, they finally deliver it, but of course I’m not home…I work. So he says he’ll deliver it the next day between 10 and 2. Ok, but I’m not home…that’s a 4 hour window, I just can’t take time off like that to wait for a package. So he leaves the note saying he’ll deliver the following day after 5pm. I’m thinking great. I’ll leave early so I can be there. At least it isn’t 4 hours. So I get home at 4:40pm and what happens. I see the stupid little slip on the door saying he tried to deliver and of course it’s the final attempt, so now I have to take off more time to go to the UPS office to pick it up.

And just in case you’re thinking it, no they didn’t leave it because I have to sign for it. Also, it’s like some $300 stereo equipment thing that I wouldn’t want them to leave on the doorstep. Who knows why he didn’t have them deliver to his work. He does with everything else, why not this one, I have no idea.

Then I try to go order something online and realize my credit card has expired. And I haven’t received the updated card. So I call American Express, they verify that the address is correct, which it is. I get the bill every month. But apparently it was mailed and somehow marked undeliverable so they sent it back. What the F*? That makes no sense. So my trial version of the software I was trying to order will expire before I’m able to purchase it, because the card probably won’t arrive in time. Go figure.

I hope nothing else happens today. I’m ready for it to be over and done with. Maybe tomorrow will be better, but I’m not holding out too much hope since I still have to deal with UPS. :(
