I have had a wonderful day off. A holiday here in Alabama…it’s Columbus Day. I spent a few hours reading the book I just started, Pen Pals by Olivia Goldsmith. Then I had lunch and went out to a movie. Yes, I saw Under the Tuscan Sun with Diane Lane. I really love her. Every since Murder at 1600, she has been a favorite of mine and she really did a great job in this movie. It is such a good movie. I’m not even sure how to classify it…romance just doesn’t really explain it. It is a romantic drama, but not what you’d expect of a romance. You just have to see it for yourself. Then I went browsing for new mattresses. We are in desperate need of new ones. The ones we have a horrid to sleep on. You wake up worse than when you went to bed. We may get something this weekend, but I wasn’t about to get something without my husband trying it out as well. He has to sleep on it too and I want something both of us will be comfortable on. Now I am back at home with a monstrous size banana split that I just made. I plan on sitting down with my fabulous treat and watching Deeply with Kirsten Dunst.
