First Mother's Day Gift 10 May 2006

I got my very first ever Mother’s Day present last night from my husband. He got me a new bedding set for our bedroom. I’ve been wanting new sheets, because we only have one set that fits that mattress (since it’s thick). Well, he got the whole set: comforter, sheets, pillow cases, shams and skirt. And when I got home from work, he had made the bed up all pretty with the new bedding. It is so pretty, I love it…Earth tones, my favorite and it matches our room furniture and decor.

It was so weird him telling me Happy Mother’s Day and getting a gift. LOL! But pretty cool at the same time. It was neat.

I’m actually surprised I haven’t gotten any cards yet. I figured my sister (she’s so cheesy, like that) would have sent me one for a mommy-to-be. She keeps saying how she can’t wait to find out what I’m having…she’s saving her pennies, so she can go shopping for baby stuff. LOL! She’s definitely one proud auntie. :)
