I love being a mom. It’s the most wonderful job in the world. Sometimes I just watch Amelia sleep and wonder how I got so lucky to have such a cute little girl. My baby will be 3 months tomorrow and it’s still sort of surreal to me. And I never imagined how much patience I have. I’ve always had little patience and still do for certain things, like the dogs barking. But when it comes to Amelia, patience has (almost) no limit.

She laughed for the first time on Christmas Day. It also happened to be my parents 40th wedding anniversary. And she laughed for her grandpa. She just smiles all the time as the picture clearly shows. At 3 months old, she is sleeping thru the night and it’s such a blessing. Her last bottle is between 6 and 7pm usually. We put her to bed around 8pm and she is usually asleep by 9pm at the latest. She sleeps till morning when she starts waking up around 6am. Of course this isn’t set in stone as babies are never 100% predictable.

She is eager to sit up and see the world. Hence the bumbo seat. When she is in my lap, it’s usually in a sitting position. She doesn’t like being cradled much anymore. My baby girl is growing up!
